I bought this for my daughter. It is her first car. It is 300 tdi 7 seat station wagon with 126,000 miles and a service history. It was done over the phone believe it or not but everything seems genuine. The seller asked me to sell it back to him if my daughter ever decides to sell.
The lacquer on the roof needs attending to but all of the major things like engine, bulkhead and chassis are solid. I have to get it transported over and I'll get her up on a ramp and serviced and checked over. Yes, it is one of the last 300 tdi Defenders. I trust that getting the lacquer redone will not be too expensive. Still I'd rather have to deal with that than a dodgy bulkhead or chassis! 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Very nice. My daughter would love one but being 18 with one years no claims means the insurance is still way too high for it to be affordable.

I think that exact spec was the start of Defender’s popularity with the ‘general’ public.
There was one on the rocks of our local dealer, same colour, same spec... and it got everybody’s attention. She’s a lucky girl. |

What a lovely example...my daughter is waiting patiently for me to pop my clogs as I've left her my Land Rover's in my will!!!
My first car was a S1...I'm in my 60's now & the LR DNA has never left me...well done Spudfan, you've set your daughter on the right path...great parenting comes in many guises Since 1973...S1, Air Portable's, Defender's, but only my Wolf TUL HS GS remains |

Very nice, great colour! What a fantastic first car, lucky girl! Has she seen it yet?

I do like that. Wish safety legislation had allowed the 7 seater 90 today.
