[Wanted] Borrow or buy a trailer
Hi all,
Need to go oop north end of November for a long weekend to collect my two tool boxes,
So looking to borrow or buy a trailer, if I buy one it will be for sale immediately after my return

Anyone got anything ?

Both tool boxes will fit in the back of my 90 but I’m taking the dog and he won’t fit safely / comfy for a long trip
Looked at van hire, but all the newish vans have a fixed bulkhead so dog will be in the back separated from us , not acceptable he tells me Rolling with laughter

Obviously beer tokens available for a loan deal

Many thanks
Thumbs Up

Loads of places do trailer hire
You might even find a company that you can hire near your destination but you can drop it back near your home May your life be like toilet paper ; long & useful.

Trailertek in Micheldever have a hire fleet - quite a good choice when I last needed one.

If you have no luck with a hire trailer I have a covered Penman which could be available for a nominal fee.

Just a quick heads up,
I popped into Trailertek for some. It’s n pieces for the new ( to me ) trailer,
They no longer sell new trailers or do trailer rental,
Purely spares now,
Mind you - they have a masssive amount of spares and good chaps working there

Thanks to all again

Thanks for letting me/us know - it was 4 years ago I last hired from them so no surprise they've changed.

Glad you got it sorted.

Glad to see you still have the Penman, still wish I could have kept it.

Hi Tony!

it'll shortly be on its way to a new owner again - it's been perfect for my house renovations, landscaping and quite a lot of trips onto the Plain for our release pen building, but I have no real use for it now all that is finished so once it's clean it will be for sale. I had it serviced when I bought it from you and added a hitch lock but it's been faultless, and i've never seen another of the type. I think the only annoyance with it is the need to remove the spare wheel to hitch and unhitch it on anything other than a flat surface but once you accept it, it just becomes part of the process. I'll be sad to see it go.
