Ditto....Thank you. I also need to make an unreserved apology to all male glovebox orderers....Let me explain.... Whilst speaking to Mrs Leeds (nice lady!) who had been left with the 'infernal card machine' to take payments whilst Mr Leeds put his feet up with a cup of coffee and the newspaper whilst getting his vehicle serviced, we put the World to rights. I then asked Mrs Leeds what she thought of my chances of fitting the glovebox without my partner noticing as any more purchases this month on the Defender and I would be in deep !!! Unfortunately I then confessed to periodically getting stuff sent to my work address so my partner wouldn't find out!!! Sorry chaps!!!! As to the 'clandestine fitting' Mrs Leeds stated I haven't got a cat in hells chance of getting away with it as it would be directly in front of her in the Defender....I reckon 'with a fair wind' my chances are pretty good, after all I did get away with a front bumper fit....had to do it in the pouring rain though so she wouldn't bring me out a cup of coffee and enquire what I was doing!!!! (Disclaimer: There may have been slight exaggeration in my story especially about Mr Leeds with the newspaper and coffee bit for 'effect purposes' only!) Once again please accept my apologies! Bet I'm not the only one that uses 'clandestine fitting techniques' or work address for deliveries though!!! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

So true I have always been in control of the finances so have had a free rein but recent spending on boat and Defender has made a noticeable dent in the accounts! My wife looked at the accounts for the first time in her life when had a secret meeting with the bank manager OOPS! How much have you spent on that boat and car? It's the first time she has put her foot down on anything in the marriage and even threatened divorce if the spending didn't stop SO I ordered mine through the business BUT will be living alone if it comes in the post and she see's it A boot mat and pedal lock will be my last buys for a long while I am working every free moment at the moment evenings, weekends etc full on to get some dosh back in Where's that Thai bride website, I think I'm going to need it |
