Optima battery still reasonable choice?
I'm looking into replacing my 55Ah Yellowtop with a 75Ah version. Because it will be linked to my existing 55Ah Yellowtop starter battery (like to keep batteries similar due to dual-battery setup).

Is the 75Ah Yellowtop still a reasonable choice (pretty old design already), or should I be looking into different options?

Not interested in LiFePo, because of price and cold weather charging limitations.

Thanks!

Sven

connected with VSR? if not and in parallel one will drain to the other as different sizes.

For the money, if your keen to spend that much North Star or Odyssey would be my preference based on my experience. Having said that you wont go far wrong with Numax. Cheers

Not sure why people like Optimas so much. Very expensive with a generally lower aH than others with similar if not lower CCA Instagram @defender_ventures
