If you can find them the genuine heater pads are around £150 and easy to fit. LRI use to sell them but I am sure Twisted will have a room full of them Andy

The Recaros are truly amazing! We’ve driven so many long trips in the car with these seats and are amazed by their comfort. Not soft, but supportive in all the right ways. I have the same seats in a JCW Mini and they work there too. 1998 Tdi 90 SW,

The most comfortable defender seat is the premium factory seat.

Out of interest are Autobiography seats basically the same, as they look similar?

Support and comfort, I think.

There isn't a fat lot of either in a standard seat. Saying that, I don't find my XS seats uncomfortable, they just could be better.

Thanks, yes can imagine them to be a bit more comfortable, but wondered if there's any real benefit to them. More leg room/adjustability for example. They do look nice.

SVX Recaro seat rails go over the seat box bolting joint. So no need for mud rails, you sit lower and get the benefit of more leg room. Not sure if this is the case with the Recaro Sportster CS seats

They're a very comfortable seat.
