Aerial replacement
At my 36,000mile service/first MOT the main dealers have managed to break both the radio aerial and a bracket in the engine compartment. They are going to replace both but does anyone know how difficult a job replacing the aerial is. My worry is can they be trusted? If it is tricky I will ask a friend to do it.

on another point I am going to have my car rustproofed by a company in Birmingham called WJF (UK) LTD - BIRMINGHAM They use Dinitrol products and rustproof army vehicles and commercial vehicles. Once done I will post my opinion.

They're easy enough to replace with the wheel spat removed. I suppose it might be awkward presenting it to another dealer as they might think you broke it. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.

I can recommend a much better place to both have future services/MOT's and to get it waxoyled much closer to warwick than birmingham if you are interested.

I bet they will be cheaper as well Mike

I'm beginning to loose faith in my local dealer.

My 110 was in (again) for warranty work. They managed to bend the aerial too, even though I had pushed it all the way down before leaving the vehicle with them.

On another warranty visit previously, they damaged the bonnet and quietly had it resprayed!

They didn't argue about rplacing the aerial, but it was rather loosly fitted.

When it's three years old, it's not going near Land Rover.
