Good that your still doing bits to the 90 Very Happy

Nice find with the water and just a few more holes to find for the rest of the water ingress Rolling Eyes

Yep bits still being done to the 90 but it has been slow over the last few months, but now getting married is all done, work can pick back up on finishing it off Thumbs Up

Yep it was a cold shock when the water that leaked in through the roof collected in the headlining and as i turned a corner it rained on my head Rolling with laughter
Think i am going to have to turn the hose pipe on and spray the car to find the rest of the leaking areas Exclamation 1995 Land Rover Discovery 300tdi - Sold

Yes you certainly have a very cold shock when that happens all over you Shocked

You know that it wont leak the same when putting a hose over the 90 Laughing

Next time you go out in the 90, you should wear some waterproofs Wink 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

That is true i may not find the leaks but on the upside the other leaks that i need to trace all end up on the passenger side so SWMBO will be getting the cold shower instead Rolling with laughter

Next time might stick either a wetsuit or drysuit on when taking the 90 for a spin Thumbs Up Rolling with laughter 1995 Land Rover Discovery 300tdi - Sold

Sounds good that the other leaks are on the passenger side Thumbs Up

If you go in the 90 again, with a wet suit on, just put a surf board on top and no one would be the wiser Laughing 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Update,

Got the fuel gauge working and i am happy as it says there is half a tank of diesel in it so thats a bonus Thumbs Up Also got the second battery in and split charge system on and wired up the inverter Very Happy No photos of all this work as it was done when it was absolutely bouncing down and i was soaked and cold. Will eventually take some photos of the work done.

Getting back on with the water leaks, whilst the 90 was out in the torrential rain after i had completed the electrical work, i had chance to monitor where the water leaks are coming from as the drivers foot well filled that much up i could have had a gold fish swimming in it Laughing Cut a long story short it looks like the water is coming through the windscreen/bulkhead blocks and at the top of the A pillar, So looks like i am going to ditch the hinged window blocks and replacing them, and put new gaskets etc on to hopefully stop the water entering there and to re-seal at the top of the A pillar. Then will monitor for more leaks.
I know its a 30yr old landy and will leak in places but before the rebuild it never leaked in either of these places so i am determined to stop it.

Now its time to start saving for more of the fun Mods to get the old girl looking how i want it to look Thumbs Up Thumbs Up 1995 Land Rover Discovery 300tdi - Sold

The glove box is a neat piece of kit, well made and looks good IMO, also good that it has vents at the top so still lets air flow through when the "Aircon Flaps" are open Rolling with laughter And is big enough to store a satnav and cables and a few other little bits in.
it wouldnt stop mr thief though as a well placed pry bar and it will probably rip out with enough force. But i aint gonna be try that lol 1995 Land Rover Discovery 300tdi - Sold

Spent Saturday morning sealing up the roof with some black sika flex on the areas that were leaking so the only other job to do to hopefully stop the other area that is leaking is to buy some solid window blocks and get rid of the hinged ones. and then seal them up.

Then added the Raptor engineering switch pod and switches - not wired up yet but that will be in the next couple of months. So the interior is getting there also need to put the plastic cover back on around the steering column. Also need to relocate the inverter that i got

New window blocks fitted, i have replaced the old hinged ones with the solid non hinged version. But by heck were they a Censored to remove, the two lower bolts came out with not much fuss the cross headed bolt through the windscreen frame though was a nightmare, after smacking it with the impact driver and nothing happening, i drilled it out and used a bolt extractor and after some brute force it eventually came out, its always the simple and easy looking jobs that seem to take up time.
Now to wait till i have some spare time to take it out in the rain Thumbs Up 1995 Land Rover Discovery 300tdi - Sold

Good that you managed to get it done but as you said, it's always the simple jobs always take the longest time and they always do Rolling Eyes 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.
