Thanks for your kind comments guys. What a great forum!! So few weeks in and now a few issues have come to light! 🤣🤣
1. Masai side windows don’t look to have been fitted well! So with the weather recently have been leaking a lot!!!! So had a few nights of sika flex and fun and sealing them up so hopefully that should sort that!!! 2. Rear suspension bushes need replacing but have put a post on here and have a plan for those!! 3. Has the dreaded wobble at 50mph. Which has come on. Didn’t have it from the 450miles down from Scotland. It’s not all the time but is at 50 and is awful!! Then stops at 60mph and just becomes a slight vibration!! Had the wheels balanced and that didn’t seem to work! Not sure how to deal with this! So any help would be appreciated. 😊👍. 4. Realised it doesn’t have great sound insulation!! So looked at the forums and online and have brought some killmat from the USA (cheaper than anything I can find in UK and has equivalent results apparently!!) started fitting today in the rear boot area so we will see how it works! 5. Oh there is also water in both foot wells drivers and passengers. So not sure where that’s coming from so need investigating could be the top seal around the roof joint! So maybe more sika! 😂😂 6. With all the above I have some stuff to do and bits to check but even with all of this I bloody LOVE it. It’s awesome I can not wait to take it off-road properly and have fun!! (But need it sorted first and sealed properly!) so it’s fair to say that I will be on this site a lot! 🤣🤣🤣 |

Good stuff!
Other folk will likely advise you how to check swivel bearings and panhard rod bushes, I had this exact issue and it turned out the wheels / tyres (Sawtooths, BFG A/T) were not balanced properly even after being taken back once to have em checked, so may be worth getting them / someone else to have another look. Cheers, Matt |

So the end of the summer is coming and what a time it has been! I have sorted the wobble! Well my local awesome landrover specialists have and it need two new hubs! 🙄. I also replaced all the tyres with cooper discover st max and they seem awesome and it drives like a dream now! I have also added some chequer plate (mainly to protect the truck from the kids! 🤣🤣) and also some under protection and light guards I think she’s looking quiet smart now!
