All, after having my car serviced and finding out i need a new ABS unit it also came to the attention of my guy that the rear brake pads were wrong.
Apparently they come in Two thicknesses and i require the thicker of the two but i have the thinner of the two, so i only have 1mm of working pad left before they're completely worn and have no contact. Had a look at microcat and had a look about and can't find any reference to thicker pads? Anyone know which part no i should have? Also what are the best brand to use? are there any performance pads out there? Wouldn't mid going premium just so long as they're not ablative type. Thanks but doesn't answer my question on thicknesses,
Tommo bit of a problem being that LR used three separate brake pad suppliers Mintex, Ferodo and delphi, Genuine LR is just a raffle as to which OEM brand they used.
