Has anyone ordered one?
So I've been through the configurator and as mentioned elsewhere cannot see £73k and Defender in same sentence...

I have thought....what about a basic as it comes 110. No options, STD trim....like this I found a picture but without the plate holders on the side...

If you get an early build slot...drive it for a year...sell (hopefully) for same price?

Not ordered yet as a) i want to see what the PHEV will cost b) i’m Not planning to change my present cars until next April/May - my current PHEV will be 2 years old then and my TDi300 90 24 years old. The plan being to reduce from two excellent cars that cover my needs perfectly, to a single vehicle capable of covering both bases
Another problem is that dealers haven’t yet got any training material or full details - most seem to know less about it than us - nothing new there then Rolling with laughter Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

I'm off the Solihul sessions in October so will have a think after then. You got to have some big stones to order just on uncle Gerry's presentation, web site and press/PDF's mind.

I was thinking about putting in an order next week for my partner to be delivered for Xmas and have it wrapped up under the tree ...

But am not sure that I can afford the time to put it together in time ....

had a deposit down for months, and now have an appointment this weekend to do the paperwork. Had a few discussions and sent them a spec sheet to discuss figures around. I really wanted the PHEV so may well hang on or I may just go for it. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

For those that do pop up on this thread and tell us they’ve ordered one, it’ll be interesting to hear the need/reasoning behind it. Like the looks/need the space/why not/need it for work/does more than my current car/prefer it to the D5 etc etc. Just to understand... Whistle Monsieur Le Grenadier
