I do like the covers (and the Discovery) - stupid question: are they solid plastic or really dark filters that let some light through? Peter

Not having a go here but I cant see any useful mods that have been done to take this vehicle overland. The lights would only show up the dust if you were to use them at night in the desert, and TBH you would not drive at night in the desert unless you had to.
The bullbar would end up stuck in the radiator the first time you started to clime a sand dune. Have you fitted a Fridge? extra battery's? Sand Ladders? Mapping? Again I'm not having a go and you have done a great job on the stuff you have done so far but I just don't see the 'overland' in these mods. ![]() ![]() |

Solid for protection only. The clear Covers are stored in rear cabinets. ![]() |

Fridge will be fitted, extra battery being fitted, Ladders to go on rack and off road satellite nav mapping fitted. I have tested the bar offroad but not in Desert (yet) and all seems OK but I take your general point. Lights are by choice - I like them so I have them and you never know when they may be needed ![]() |

Good advice, all working perfectly though and have been for some time as they were wired by a previous owner of the rack who had it on his D3 for some time. |
