Really sorry to hear of yet another one, and feel for your loss. I'll keep my eyes open.
This is getting much too close. |

Sorry to hear this😞
A good reminder that just because they can’t get to the pedals and there’s no steering wheel , doesn’t mean it won’t be gone in the morning. 😞😞 2002 td5 90 county hardtop |

Sorry to hear....its disgusting behaviour from what sounds like a professional gang and a reminder that a physical barrier in needed to stop towing.

They unbolt the steering arm to straighten the wheels up. It’s only a split pin and a nut after all... it’s the massive weak point in all expensive steering protections.

It’s still worth turning your wheels.
It’s an added complication that the “gentlemen “ have to overcome, even if it only takes a minute🤔 2002 td5 90 county hardtop |

OK for those living in a bit more of a rural local:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bisley-Security-B...amp;sr=8-2 A trigger wire attached to an external starter kill switch (so you don't forget and drive off....) might be enough to give them a brown trouser moment. |

Bloody love it..... even though I’m not in a rural location. Just need to think of a way to rig it for the occasional times I park it overnight when away from home in hotel carparks or side streets. Needs to be really easy to set. |

Just rig it so it takes a proper shell and discharges on unauthorised moving of your vehicle

I wandered through one of these down a track once... to say I sh@t myself is an understatement. Reminds me of a good old army trip flare. |
