Well worth the money,, saves loads of time with a air gun / 18v impact

Yes Land Rover even in the 21st centuary still uses unf nuts and bolts for their propshafts, nothing like putting your head in the sand. 10mm fine high tensile probably a bit to high tech for Lode Lane. Ir you don't want to invest in a special socket just grind the outside edge off an old 9/16 ring spanner i've got one in my tool box made years and years ago. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

Grinding a ring down, yes that is an idea, however I am more inclined to think that if it is easy to do I will be more inclined to do it. The iron ore dust here is quite abraisive, when wet it is worse and drying it sets like concrete!
It will make the investment in a 9/16 spanner and the special tool, already dug out the grease gun I,m halfway there.  |
