Howdy Landy Nut
Where did you get them from, and roughly what cost - I'm keen to do the same for my TD5? Cheers Tom |

Get them from Pete Bell at Bell Autos.
I am looking forward to seeing what effect it will have. I am getting the engine running as sweetly as possible before I contemplate tuning to ensure no other factors can change effect the performance. At the moment, I will be doing the exhaust, then the K&N, then the EGR and finally a tune from either BAS or TD5 Alive. Heard good reports about both, so dont know which way to go at the moment. Very tricky indeed. I will only be going for a Stage 1 tune though as I am not really interested in going the whole hog with the big intercooler. Landy nut |

^^^^ exactly what i did to mine non cat downpipe (std fit as 99MY) straight through mid, K&N, EGR kit from TD5 alive and then JE Eng phase 1 upgrade. went very well, 31mpg average 36 on a run (o/d fitted too) and was pulling strong at 105k miles when i sold it.
not sure the straight through mid pipe will add much less noise on a stock tunned vehicle though. Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |
