Yep, driving along and went to open window, horrible crash as door glass disappeared into the door.
Thankfully I remember reading about someone else having the same issue on here, so as soon as I got back home looked it up and forum and followed instructions for removing door card. Put it all back together, better than ever ie, no longer rattles, just wish I had not left it until now to fix it.... As I walked away feeling just a little smug at having avoiding a trip to the main-steelers I noticed a horrible little outward pointing dent toward the bottom of the door. Clearly the window had hit the inside of the putter door skin with quite some force. As it on one of the few perfectly flat shiny sections it really jumps out. So far I have resisted the temptation to hit t with a happier to see if I can 'repair' it, concerned that I might end up with something worse. |

Never heard of hitting anything with a 'happier' before? Hammer maybe? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Cheers K9F, had not thought of that. Amusing thing is I just moaned to my wife about it, she looked at it and said, "but there are hundreds of little dents all over the place". Had to explain that those 'dents' were were part of the way it is made.
Don't think she got it |

BUT, please say in advance it is a Defender. Otherwise the dent devil will get a heart attack trying to fix all feature dents ... Never forget: cars have owner, Landrover have field service personnel. |

This happened to me once while in the Alps. Luckly it did not dent the door.
