Oil filter coming loose.
3rd time this has happened. I really make sure it's thight when I service her.
But after a few months I find a drop of oil. And when I check the oil filter it's loose..
After that it's usually okay but now I lock it with wire.
Someone said that it could be the specific filter I use, I use Mahle.

Any input will be appreciated.

Interesting. I noticed my oil filter had some dribbles down it a couple of weeks ago. Tightened a little. It is indeed a Mahle filter.

Really basic thing which I am sure you are doing but...…….

Are you wiping a smear of oil around the seal before screwing the filter into place?
If not the seal could be "grabbing" at the dry surface and then later (when some oil has got onto the seal) allowing the filter to leak slightly as the seal isn't tight?
