Like me of course. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

Exactly, you can't stereotype a Defender owner by look
Or do they need rigger boots, camo gear and a leather bush hat https://www.facebook.com/duckworthparts Send a paypal payment direct using this link www.paypal.me/duckworthparts www.duckworthparts.co.uk My Direct Line: 01673 849873 Email: danroberts@duckworthlandrover.co.uk Supplier of Genuine Land Rover & Jaguar Parts For All Models Can also supply OEM & Aftermarket parts |

Oops, after all, not me then. You never actually own a Defender. according to some around here, unless you're doing this, you're not a *real* Defender driver: my original comment was TIC, I most definitely DO NOT look like the typical South African Defender driver but also, not a SINGLE person from Africa or Australia, the last truly 'frontier' places where the new Defender will have to prove itself. -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |

But surely you should be looking at the people being offered free coffee in a JLR dealership to see the people who are actually buying from JLR. Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly! |

I'm beginning to wonder if this will be Defenders' P38 moment - widely unliked and so LR keep producing the old model (in this guise via the Works V8 and the Heritage division) to be replaced by a much more radical and highly regarded version in a few years time. Darren

I posted along these lines previously; this is now on one of the mainstream JLR platforms and so will need to follow the same lifecycle. We'll see a facelift around 2024.5 MY, then a replacement on a full BEV platform will start to surface around 2028 ahead of the planned banning of new model ICE in key EU markets circa 2030. So if you don't like this model, you'll not have too long to wait for a new vehicle and platform. As to continuation of production of the old Defender? My view is that's wishful thinking, but I'm prepared to be surprised. 54 Freelander modded for mud 2008 D3 SE 2010 90 XS SW 1978 88 Series 3 undergoing surgery with a new owner 2007 90 County Truck Cab - gone 2006 D3 SE - gone 2004 Freelander Sport - gay 1999 Disco V8 ES rotted to bits |

With the Peugeot interest in JLR I’d see a change of tact. They will strip back the model ranges to remove competing models focusing on the profitable ones. I’m expecting the Jag 4x4’s ranges to be discontinued once they reach the end of their model lifecycle. I believe you’ll then see regular updates/facelifts for the remaining ones every year or so. Similar to Audi/BMW/Merc. Hopefully they see the new Defender platform as a commercial vehicle crossover using their commercial vehicle experience to enter into the fast growing pickup market, something they have struggled with. |

Same front-end as in Bond shot. Bonnet, wings match contours of the one under the drapes. For those that think there are any more surprises as to front end design, I think not. Also, the color in this shot reminds me of the color of this old l “paint booth” leak below
