From that angle the rear side looks like those Russian UAZ 4x4's that people laughed at. I don't think there will be enough room on the bonnet for the "Rangeovery" name. It does look like the offspring of a romantic encounter between a Range Rover and a Discovery. There is no evidence as far as I an see that the Defender joined in and made it a threesome...... 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

WOW That is so underwhelming and it looks sort of old already and needing a face lift .
Great news ,as expected for the resale value of our proper Land Rovers ! |

Disappointing I gotta say. Too Range Roverish. If I were to buy one, I would have the dealer send it to ARB for a bull bar before I even took delivery. ARB and Hella will fix McGovern's folly. |

not sure if you have seen the competition in standard form, but imo this looks a whole lot better imo, im sure ARB will get the first one avail to play with and already have the specs, but the tube bar with winch seen on the spain pilots would look great on this, especially with the snorkel. Imo Landrover have nailed modernizing the defender, really tough job, more to be revealed but so far im stoked.

Love the unwavering positivity and exuberance, it's a nice point of difference to most on here.
And I really wanted to love the re-imagined Defender. The Lego model gave me hope. But this image confirms the bonnet-off spy photo as real, and I don't think it is very good at all. Have a look at the Defender photo on the banner at top of page. Now look back at the new one. There's no inspiration at all been taken from the old one. Bullbar please ASAP. |

No amount of bolt on bits can rescue that.
