Sorry to hear that. Couldn’t actually bring myself to read any more than half the post! 18 years of great memories.

Thank you all for your messages of support and sympathy.
Today it has really hit me, the house feels so quiet and empty at present. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

I know exactly what you mean gilarion. The emptiness is in the house is intolerable.
It wont feel like it today, but there will come a point when you can look back at your good memories, the photos and remember all those good times. |

RIP Loki - run free over Rainbow Bridge.
So sorry for your loss, gilarion. It’s so sad to lose a friend and companion. Loki had an amazing life with you. You have some fantastic memories to treasure. |

A man and his dog, there is no closer bond - IMO.
I know exactly how you feel. 22 years ago I lost my old Labrador (had to be put down) then the wife and the children (divorce) in the space of 2 weeks. I still miss the dog(!) and haven't felt able to buy another one since. You have my sympathy. |

Very sorry to hear of the passing of your very best and most loyal friend. We lost our older lad just last Thursday. He was riddled with cancer unfortunately which was very aggressive and took hold of him very quickly. At least we didn’t need to watch him go down hill over the long term. He was our second to go, and I think it was easier this time as we started the grieving process when we heard he was unwell again. It’s just a 5hi7 show when it happens, no other words really describe it. As long as you are happy that you gave him the best life then that’s what counts. We only miss them so much because we loved them so much. I’ll add a pic of my boy here too if you don’t mind? The older one is our sadly departed Duncan and the young daft one is Gordon - thank goodness we still have him here to keep us sane and on our toes.
