I too trawled the forums when thinking about changing my Td5 for a Puma and despite all the negativity...went for it. Never regretted it (well not yet anyway!) Great machine.

The Td5 before never missed a beat and yet if you do a search for Td5 reliability....it would scare you senseless. Forums are great but you need to consider people often first come here to find solutions to problems or to have a moan. I know that's how I started! Very Happy

The Puma is a great machine.

Cheers She's not old...just older

I've had my 90HT about ten hours, done around 120 miles. Started ply lining it and fitted some Mudstuff protection pads, polished some of it, scraped the flaking paint off the mud-flap bracket, smoothrite-ed the mud-flap bracket and generally stared at it parked on the drive.

It has'nt let me down yet. In fact it gave me a little present.............

The salesman gave me two keys and one alarm fob. "don't lose the fob, Land Rover only supply one with each vehicle" Opened the bonnet when I got home, had a nosey around and cable-tied to a pipe in the engine bay was another alarm fob. Whoever PDI'd it should have gone to Specsavers.
So far, so good.

Very Happy
