United Kingdom 2003 Defender 110 Td5 CSW Aintree Green
Decals
Hi,

My 2003 110 TD5 CSW is currently in for a respray (thread to follow). I'm gonna need to replace the decals and bonnet lettering. Is there a recommended place/kit? Which ones do I need? Don't want some crap a kid knocked up on vinyl cutter in their bedroom!

TIA

S

In my experience some crap knocked up in a kids bedroom would be better quality than genuine.

When I rebuilt my International Tractor, I got the decals made by a local sign shop.

The tractor was a 1976 and there were only a couple of hundred ever built. There was no way of getting replacements from Case New Holland.

They were vinyl, but they were excellent. Unfortunately, I think the guy is now retired (and Norfolk is nowhere near Teeside), but he used to do commercial vehicles and quite a bit of heritage stuff. I would recommend that route if you don't go for originals.

In my experience a good decal can look crap if it is applied wrong and vice versa.
