I would say either a relay/something has corroded/bad connection, most likely guess would be someone has taken a switched live feed for your dash cam, probably hacked into a wire and it’s had enough Whistle

I’ll take a look but can’t see how the rain would affect it! This morning we had a downpour about 3am, I looked out of the window to see the dash lights all twinkling! When I finally got in to go to work almost every light was on, no tacho, temperature gauge at max and in limp mode! I drove about ¼ mile, stopped, walked my dog got back in and all ok except for the three amigos from the start of the problem. No limp mode no other lights. I need it to stay dry long enough so I can hose down each section in turn to try and at least narrow it to an area. I’m trying to find a good auto electrician but it’s pot luck!

Update
Ok, so I still have the three amigos alight and have found an auto electrician to send it to. However, I think I have solved the other issues of the dash lights twinkling, indicators flashing, horn going off, dash cam starting itself up, limp mode and no gauges, all on its own but only when it rained! It appears water was getting in via the windscreen wiper shaft. The gaiter was slightly away from the bulkhead allowing the rain in, this is right above the fuse box. I noticed that if I parked on a left to right slope it didn’t happen, I guess because the water just fell to one side of the fuse box instead of on it! I have subsequently packed the gaiter with grease and pushed it firmly home and all seems well and it has certainly been tested in the last few days with the amount of rain we have had.
So things aren’t looking as bad as first thought, just got to sort the “ return pump circuit” issue and we’re all good again!

NikMc, sorry to disappoint you but it appears the pump is faulty. When viewed on live data the pump circuit switches on and off roughly every 20 seconds or so. The electrician ran lots of tests, checked the relays and banged things, pulled wires etc but kept coming back to the pump. Looks like it will be off the road for a while once I figure out how to get the wing off to remove it for repair!
