I don’t know if yours was an unlucky bad case or not, but we had a big fleet, I think we were Mitsubishi’s biggest customer. The Shoguns were way better than the Disco 3s and on a par with Land Cruisers we had from a reliability perspective. They weren’t used off road much though. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

I used to have a 2007 SWB "4work" as my company van.
Was good until the timing chain tensioner let go and mullered the engine. Got the big FO pill from Mitz UK; eventually work got a replacement engine for it (my mum now has it) but it's not the same, has never run right since. The annoying thing was about 8 months after the engine blew, there was a VOSA recall on them to check..,... ....timing chain tensioners We tried to claim but got nowhere, so good riddance to them. |

Mitsubishi Motors pulled out from sponsoring Badminton Horse Trials after this year's competition. They probably feel that they now don't have a suitable 4x4 for the horsey market.

Had a very early 1983(?) red soft top. It was branded Colt. Very reliable, can't remember much if anything going wrong with it, and did plenty of miles through the UK and Europe. Mind you, when it was finally px'd for a Wr****er in 1997 you could see the road through the rust holes in the floor. Got an enquiry shortly after it went because someone torched it in a field.
