be prepared for requests for photos of yourself, your vehicle(s), and to have a good "hook" for the production company to be interested. Oh, and you'd better have a damn good trip planned, two weeks in morocco is not going to cut it

and no, they won't fund a penny. and when you're on it, expect a camera in your face from sunrise to sunset, then expect it to be edited to be something you don't remember happening at all. And all this is after you sign a 250 page contract which binds you to the production company forever, including any book rights, appearances, in fact any kind of commercial endorsement at all. And lastly, they will also have the right to be your agent if it turns you into the next ray mears.
