Looks amazing and in great condition!!
I hope you're keeping any bits you remove to maintain originality for maximum resale price. Those KM3's are a great looking tyre!! So a few hours to tinker yesterday and getting around to seeing what is needed or can be removed.
After removing about a hundred bolts I finally extracted all the radio mounting plates and cables and also the SA80 racks. They will never be of use to me and only get in the way. It also frees up space in the rear load bay. For now I’m going to leave the Dexion in place, it may be useful at some point. The bulkhead looks like Swiss cheese! The emptier it is the easier it will be to repaint in NATO green. The more I delve into the Wolf the more I can see that the Army wax sprayed so much of it. 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol Last edited by RRUK on 5th Aug 2019 2:27pm. You'll get some £££ for those bits on the FB wolf page I linked to the other day.

Perhaps Jim, but not sure if I should keep them in case I ever sell it and it helps with the vehicles provenance. Who knows.
I do know that from experience, you make it your own so it is of use to you, not the next owner! 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |

Found out tonight from a guy on the Facebook Wolf group that my Wolf was with 2 Royal Anglians.

Have these vent controls gone beyond repair?

The WOLF project has taken an interesting turn. I bought a 2nd one!
I came to the conclusion that a hard top version suits my needs better, so the Soft Top is currently being fully serviced, cambelt etc all done, MOT'd and registered and will be for sale. It will be a very nice example for someone as I've spent lots of time and money making it better and better. So far I've done the following: Full fluid drain and change on front & rear diffs, transfer box and gearbox, swivels topped up. Local Land Rover specialist garage has done the following too: Engine has had full oil service to include Oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter Engine also had camshaft drive belt, tensioner and idler and front cover seal/gasket, all using genuine parts. Soft top removed and roll frame rubbed down and re-sprayed in Satin Black Rear tub area repainted in Nato Green All FFR ‘leftovers’ including SA80 rack removed but available if required New parts fitted: Steering wheel Indicator Stalk Wiper Stalk Hazard Switch Pioneer Toolkit Straps Front door seals Door tops re-felted Vent seal replaced Vent control arms replaced Map light shroud Rear number plate light Original decals replaced I'll post some recent pics too. 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |
