Yes, the are 7 x 16 and yes, 235/85 is standard fit, although LR also fitted 265/75 to this size of alloy in the past.
You can fit 30mm spacers without issue. However, the turning circle of a 90 on standard tyres is absolutely fine if the lock stops are properly adjusted. It's more of a benefit on 110's and 130's. Rakeway are a well regarded brand of spacer. Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? Svx alloys fitted with 265/75 and 30mm spacers and yes they do make a marked improvement to the turning circle on a 90.

The offset is 33. Likely cast into the back of one of the spokes as 'ET33'. So a 30mm spacer would effectively take them to ET03. A lot of aftermarket alloy wheels are ET00's so would near as dammit be the same as those. Generally speaking the smaller the 'ET' value the further outboard it is

I don't like spacers, & would never use 'em. They are illegal in Aussie.
However, SVX, or "Dual Finish" as they are sometimes called, are the ultimate factory Puma alloy IMHO. We optioned them from new on our 90, and the steering & everything else relative to the steering, suspension, etc etc was absolutely fine. But then again, I'm a BIG wrap for factory, standard, originality etc in all aspects of Defender, and these are just my preferences,...others will obviously have differing views,.....big road of discovery for you,....and this forum is the best place for you to be, to follow that road! My genuine svx alloys had corrosion all over the diamond turned spokes after 12 months creeping under the lacquer.
Couldn’t get rid of them quick enough |

I had 2 sets under warranty on my svx and they had to replace all 5 both times to ensure colour match, they look nice but are problematic

Depends if you like marmite
![]() I only got rid of mine because I had to because I used it for work and the company I work for only allow you to run a private car upto 6 years old, I did manage 8 years before finally having to concede. I guess panoramic glass is also marmite ![]() ![]() 2008 SVX 90 2000 XS TD5 90 |
