Anyone with a Howling Moon RTT
Not sure whether i have some bits missing from my Tourer RTT or if i am just being thick.

I cant work out where the bottom of each of the 6 tension rods for the windows fit into. The top hooked part obviously goes through the eyelets in the window flaps but there isnt anything suitable at the bottom for the rod to fit into. There are obvious access points through the skirt and annex to allow the rods to pass through but it is just the featureless aluminium extrusion which runs around the base of the tent behind.

Can anyone explain or share a picture of how they are retained?

Cheers

This shows the set up of the Stargazer which is basically the same tent, fast forward to 3.10 to se the exact location of the window rod holes

Great thanks,
Definitely don't have those holes! The only features on that extrusion are the screws that hold it on.

Guess i will give Flatdog a call

Thanks

Steve,
Your definitely missing the tube in the sides to take the metal support rods.

Thanks, a message to Flatdog has concluded the same. They are going to drill some suitable holes when I next go over to get the awning fitted.

Cheers,

To close this out. Flatdog finally drilled the holes around the aluminium strip and fitted the inserts for the window rods! The next use of the tent should be a little better now Laughing

I have a similar issue with mine, except I've no dowels for the metal pole nor little letter boxes in the canvas.
