There is nothing worse than a niggling pain like this, you have my sympathies.
I suspect none of these suggestions are going to help on their own, but a combination might... have a play with the number of spacers under the seat rails. It is amazing what a 5mm lift can do for comfort. Extended seat bases may help support your legs better. Thin pillow under your buttocks to just change the hip to femur angle a bit. Fit a lumbar support system. Same reason as above. If the pain only happens on longer journeys think about fitting cruise control so you can relax and flex your feet and legs a bit. Well worth the effort IMHO. Smaller steering wheel for more room, plus must aftermarket wheels sit slightly closer to you when compared to the standard wheel. As much as possible sit upright with your head back against the head rest. Then there is the rear bulkhead removal option and the ability to extend the seat backwards a little more too. On a side note I am very envious of your seats... |

Rear bulkhead removal is the way to go. My mate is six foot seven and fits into his Defender with seat rail extensions and rear bulkhead removed and the base seat underneath adjuster fitted into the top hole. Get the bulkhead removal bar fitted and you can also win extra leg room but chopping the back of the sliding section of seat rail off....
Slide the seat right back and you'll notice rearward movement is limited by the upper half of the rail hitting the flange on the seat box. I took half an inch of the back of that which helped.... but put a dab of weld on otherwise the ball bearings from the runners shoot out when you put the seat forwards! I did not want the seat rails as at 6ft4 I struggle to see out the side windows as it is. Did not want any extra height. Mike |

Thank you gents for the reply’s, very much appreciated. I had a look today at my seats and realised they are fully back! So the only thing the bulkhead would do is allow me to recline them more! On a side note my alternator packed up today 😂🤣 2007 2.4 90 fettled & remapped.
