Just stick to the best you can find, the more "factory" optioned the better.
You will probably have to pay serious money for the "right" Defender, so just do it,...maybe resale value is not important to you,...it isn't to me,..I just like to get the best example I can when buying a vehicle, any vehicle. But anyway, from what I've seen to date of the "New" Defender & its pricing, anyone owning a pristine Puma 90 is going to own a very desirable vehicle. Pickles. |

from enquiries already made it would appear that they are priced anywhere between 25-35K dependant on exact spec and whether Private or Dealer
as previously stated i dont have a set budget but do i believe have enough $$ to get the right truck |

Have you tried giving Joe a ring at Jim Hallam's? He often has a nice selection of late, low mileage 90's. It's where I bought mine from.
He's currently got a 15 plate hard top but personally I think the mileage is high... at least compared to what he normally has... http://jimhallam.com/vehicle/ |

Cheers for that, hadn't seen the later XS he has now advertised as all seemed earlier models previously..........
He's a little further away from me as I'm up near the "angel" but will bear in mind |

Don't let distance put you off for the right vehicle. It is one day to get what you want.

Whilst I completely agree, I have been frustrated on more than one occasion after travelling and then been disappointed Rob

I did the same. And he was willing to do a deal! I traveled up after seeing a few local ones that were nowhere as good. Also he has a wide selection and will also source for you. Good luck and take your time looking. The right one is out there for you! |

Yes very willing to travel, just meant that it was outside of my normal area and hence a little more difficult to simply "pop in" |

Have you looked at LR Motors? Or if you can double your budget go straight to Twisted

yes called their on the way back up country yesterday but the prime contender is apparently sold (and if i'm honest slightly over priced anyhows) - they do have another contender but not a good enough price differential IMO to warrant the lack of spec..........

Don't want to jinx things but may well have sourced a near perfect example as of this afternoon, just waiting on a few final details falling in place but is an extremely late one owner car with circa 10K on the clock and some very tasteful mods but importantly all of the std items to boot
Never even had a tow bar installed in the factory........ |
