Personally I think JLR are milking the launch and people are getting very bored of the wait of the “great pretender” grow a pair of balls JLR and get it launched ASAP you must by now have realised you have dropped a clanger and made it like everything else in the range YAWN

Did Twisted show their new 4x4 or just the rolling chassis?

I had a chat with the driver and his co-pilot in the Driver’s Paddock. I didn’t appreciate that it’s not just camo wrapped but also massively packed out to disguise the lines. While most of the interior was covered you could see the screen setup which looked quite smart.
I didn’t take any other photos as there were far more interesting cars to look at Click image to enlargeUntitled by Alex L, on Flickr |

Hopefully the camo includes a whole false front end. There's something not right about the front at the moment, looking at more of the photos. I just hope when it comes off it reveals something that looks completely different and a lot less like a Freelander. --- 2006 Defender 110 SW 300Tdi • 2011 Ford Ranger XLT crewcab • 2015 Defender 110 Station Wagon Utility TDCi |

Just the rolling chassis from memory, I didn’t take a close look as once I had seen the price of one of their creations which was over £100K plus VAT I retreated to look at some much nicer vehicles at much more sensible money. |

Yeah their pricing is pretty bonkers. More so when compared to the non Land Rover exotica on show there.
I was just interested to see what they are attempting. Internet photos suggest a rally raid or competition set up. Very different from their usual street bling motors. |

From my very brief look it may have been a standard LR chassis much modified for different springs and shocks.

Also saw it at Goodwood. Looks good, but more like my D3 at the front!!
Hope they can sort the silly electrical reliability issues. |
