I have been busy fettling with the Defender, so far I have fitted a new radio with DAB/bluetooth. After that I fitted KBX grills/light surrounds, gloss mirrors, gloss Defender lettering and black/silver LR badges, Wipac LED side/indicators, a Momo Millenium steering wheel which has given me a bit of extra arm room (!), set of genuine Sawtooth alloys and finally had my business logo etc added to the sides and a new custom spare wheel cover.
Jobs still to do - repaint bumper/rear cross member and fit either Wipac crystals or some J.W Speakers. I am tempted to add a gloss black steering guard and replace the side steps with the tubular steps instead. Apart from that it's really a case of looking after it now and enjoying I think! Click image to enlarge Crystal headlights and new bulbs fitted, big improvement. I was thinking of going for Trucklite leds but decided to give these a go first - I'll probably stick with them. Next job is to repaint or possibly replace front bumper and fit a steering guard. Click image to enlarge |

New side steps fitted a couple of months ago. Need to get around to painting the front bumper, and maybe the rear crossmember. Still planning on a steering guard and a few other bits.

With a bit more time on my hands over the past few months I've been busy with the 90. Sound system is nearly finished, started sound proofing yesterday with the doors. Footwells and seat box next.
Other jobs completed: rear cross member painted, new door checks, air con grill/series 3 headlight surrounds, JW Speaker headlights, 265/75/15 KO2s, led side repeaters. Fitting a new gloss black front bumper with DRLs next week. Other jobs I'm thinking about inc. Fox suspension and some recaros. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Nick, that is a great looking HT. The company logo on the side panels looks totally appropriate.
A clean and well appointed classic Defender is the perfect ambassador for a garden design business. Familiar location on those pictures. Nick,
Shame on me! This is the first time I've seen this thread. Brought a huge smile to my face seeing the 90 again. It looks really smart with your company logo and the tasteful mods. And it's obviously being very well looked after. |

Thanks Peter, I am thoroughly enjoying it. Herman is still well short of 40k miles and has certainly been pampered! Hope you're still enjoying the 110?

Great to hear from you Nick. Yes I am very much enjoying the 110. Although after i bought it I struggled for a while with those dreaded "what have I done" thoughts! I had a perfectly good 90 and I changed to a 110 which on the face of it seemed ok but had in fact been sadly neglected and had far too many faults. I could have cried! However, it has all since come good. All the niggles have been put right and I'm a proud owner once more. |

That's good to hear. Would like to buy a 110 utility for the family wagon but my wife isn't keen!
