erratic slow speed running
engine on carbs, SU.
Starts up and runs fine on choke.
Back the choke off and it starts to run rough, like it is only running on 4 cylinders, with an occasional pop from the exhaust to suggest that at least the other 4 cylinders are trying to run. Increase the choke and it runs better.
On trying to set off it definitely feels as though it is running on 4, until it gets to about 2000 rev/min then the other 4 join in.
Been through the carb set up from scratch, as per the LR factory manual and no improvement.

Any thoughts chaps? It is not a Defender, it is a One_Ten

Found the problem, fixed it. It is not a Defender, it is a One_Ten

correction, not so much component failure as assembly technique failure It is not a Defender, it is a One_Ten
