Exmoor trim seat wiring

Hi I am installing Exmoor trim heated seats.

My OEM seats have two wires to each pad (back and base). One positive and one negative.

The Exmoor trim have three wires to each section( base and back).

Any ideas on what’s what’s. Too late for wire colours. 1990 200tdi conversion 90

That’s spot on, I did search but failed to find the right info.

Question, I have two setting switches ( high and low) but only one positive feed to the seat. So if you require the high and low setting do you have to fit an in line resistor to the lower setting wiring.

This question is for curiosity only as I will just use one setting, thanks again. 1990 200tdi conversion 90

There are two elements in each part of the seat. One element will be low heat, and one element high heat.
So you put live into the switch, which to use the full ability of the elements will be a three way switch (two on’s and one off) then as you operate the switch it will be low heat - off - high heat.
