LED's is a great upgrade to the poxy standard issue lights on a Defender for sure. Worth every penny.
In light of your original issue I feel your pain because my Defender stopped starting all of a sudden. From the usual, only 30 mins before, an instant start, to virtually nothing from the starter motor. So I replaced starter motor. Nothing. Weird I thought. I'll earth the starter to the chassis with a spanner...... Boom she works! So all of a sudden my starter ground to the engine and from the engine to the chassis completely stopped conducting, literally. Weird as sin but just another day in the life of Defendering. |

Yup.... while I was scratching my head trying to work it out I did wonder if a Clairvoyant might be more use than a sparky
