Welcome to the forum, if you use the search button you will find loads of info on spare wheel carriers, people will tend to recommend what they have fitted Probably the best of all is the Nakatanenga version, but they don’t come cheap but their products are very well made and high quality. Have a chat with Brendan he is a first class fella and will give you unbiased advice and will only sell you what you need not what he wants to sell you, however a word of caution don’t ask for a discount longer serving members here will know never to ask, it’s an in-house joke. Good luck and welcome to the forum 2015 HT XS 90 2008 SVX 90 2000 XS TD5 90 |

Your choice will be influenced by what you intend fitting it to, ie tailgate or door, and if the latter whether it has seats in the back.

May I suggest finding one that doesn't require any additional drilling? We all know how prone our Defenders can be to rusting, so if you can avoid any new holes you're limiting the amount of new places that corrosion can pop up in the future.

Appreciate the advice thanks. Getting the Natakananga carrier and as my truck has been recently ‘Dinitrolled’ going to get them to spray around the fixings.
