[Wanted] Rechargeable torch
Hi all

I’m looking for a Land Rover branded rechargeable torch. I know there was a group but for one before I became a member. I was just wondering if anyone still had one they hadn’t fitted and we’re wi to sell

Thanks in advance

Stuart

Yeh I thought it would be a long shot. That’s a bit out of my price range. Thanks for replying though.

They're still on LR main site.

https://gear.landrover.com/gb/en/range-rov...ble-torch/

£203 for a torch, but it includes fitting cost! Cutout and a bit of wiring,
I assume if you speak to the dealer they may just be able to sell you the torch on its own for far less. Email Dan @duckworth

I'm interested so maybe start another multibuy?

I seem to remember from other posts here that they aren’t that good a torch to be honest and at £203 I’d be expected the Eddystone lighthouse. 2015 HT XS 90

Somewhat cheaper but still a bit much for a torch!

Genuine Land Rover USB Re-chargeable Torch

eBay Item No. 273797790933

Yes I’d have to agree that’s a lot of money for a torch. It’s more the docking station with a permanent feed that appeals to me. I was going to cut it into the dash.
I think I’ll have a search for an alternative.

Thanks everyone

For that money I’d be buying a led lenser X21.2 with car charger lead. 1500 lumens

Or if you want a beast of a torch the led lenser X21R. 5000 lumens. This is a seriously bright torch but at circa £325.00 it doesn’t come cheap but it’s very impressive Thumbs Up 2015 HT XS 90

Rechargeable maglites are the way to go. Latest LED can be picked up for sub £100 on eBay and halogen ones for around £60.

There obviously is this alternative, a mini LED MagLite engraved with Land Rover 67YRS and it’s dedicated SS/leather under dash support. Whistle

If you are still interested in the Land rover one, I have one in the garage that I purchased sometime ago and didn't fit as I used the intended space for something else.

I just need to check that it still works i.e. still charges up. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

Wow, those are expensive torches. I think my solution cost €8 from the local supermarket. It won't light a whole field at night though! But is a space to put a small LR sticker if that is important 😄
