SOLD: 2016 Defender 90 XS Station Wagon
It is with regret that I am putting my beloved Defender up for sale. I never thought I would be doing this! House plans mean I can no longer justify keeping this as my weekend car as funds are required for the next house purchase. I waited 30 years to buy one after having my first Defender driving experiences on a friends farm in my younger years. I wanted one ever since and was lucky enough to get one of the last. Ownership has been everything, if not more than I was expecting. Love this car dearly so hoping it goes to a good home to be enjoyed. • It is a 90 XS Station Wagon ‘65’ plate, registered January 2016 • I am the 1st owner from new • MOT Jan 2020 • 11,500 miles • Corris Grey – THE best colour for a Defender • Black roof (factory upgrade) • Genuine Land Rover Sawtooth alloys with Goodyear MT tyres • Carpeted front and rear (factory upgrade) • Factory upgraded sound system • Tinted rear windows (factory upgrade) • Tow bar and electrics (factory upgrade) • Black alcantara effect head lining (standard from factory) • Dinitrol applied to chassis and underside by ‘Zagato’. Highly recommended to use Chris if you haven’t already had yours done! https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic10467.html • 3 Services PDI Lookers Park Royal Land Rover 18/01/16 @ 10 miles - 18/01/16 1st Harwoods Lewes Land Rover, East Sussex @ 4,896 miles - 21/01/17 2nd Harwoods Lewes Land Rover, East Sussex @ 8,225 miles - 02/02/18 3rd The Thatched Garage, East Hoathly (LR specialist in East Sussex) @ 10,032 - 25/01/19 • Seats have been covered from new so are in perfect condition • There is no finance on the car so a straight cash sale. No part exchange will be considered. £36,995 Based in East Sussex Any questions or further information, please contact me on 07973 601911 (Duncan) Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Last edited by drambuie on 28th Apr 2020 12:02pm. Drambuie........
How could you even consider such a situation. You should remove this post immediately Last time I saw you, you still had 2 kidneys, both arms and legs. If push comes to shove I reckon you’d get away with a pirates patch as well Joking aside, interest rates are low and money is cheap. Please don’t find yourself in a situation where you regret your decision! (On the plus side your doing wonders for keeping the residual values right up there! Especially for Corris Grey ones with black roofs even if a 110 is better ) MY15.5 110XS CSW 1956 88" S1 2004 Tomcat 106 Comp safari |

I'm surprised JLR haven't made an offer for their Works V8, I understand they are still looking James

It does seem to be a struggle to sell cars at the moment - we recently sold the family Ford Kuga, it took 3 months and we only had one call! Crazy, and it was priced well below everything else on the market. I guess everyone goes for lease/new nowadays.
Price drop to £36,995. |

Just a bit of food for thought. Spoke to someone today that had bought a 2016 with 1000 miles on the clock for 47k. Yours isn’t a million miles away and a good chunk cheaper. Don’t be tempted into dropping the price just yet, the buyers are still out there if your not in a ridiculous rush.
