We went over today and what an excellent event. Great setting and met some really nice people during the day. Here are a few shots. Plenty of series ones, some great early discovery survivors and the biggest line up of Pink Panther & 110 SAS ever gathered in one place I was told by an owner.

I liked that it looked well used, yet well maintained - not standard, but modified for a particular application, while keeping with in the spirit of the original. My kinda Land Rover. 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2

Well, that was a fantastic show, once again. More rare and exotic vehicles than you could shake a stick at and the Mark Evans interviews with various folks involved in building some of them were great.
Here are a few of the vehicles that caught my eye: First up, who doesn't like a fire engine? ![]() Click image to enlarge There was a lot of love for the P38A Range Rover in its' 25th anniversary year but this one stood out as the most expensive of them all - a prototype for a mobile office concept, it originally cost £450 000! ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge This Camel replica has been seen on here before but I love the look; ![]() Click image to enlarge More 100" prototypes than ever before assembled, allegedly the best vehicle that Land Rover never built: ![]() Click image to enlarge I've only ever read about these before and never expected to see one in the UK: ![]() Click image to enlarge I could have happily driven home in this very nicely restored Series III: ![]() Click image to enlarge A very rare pre-production Discovery still with the remnants of its' road testing disguise: ![]() Click image to enlarge An even rarer, one of a kind, factory built Discovery 116" limo, specially made for the Chief Exec of BA in 1994: ![]() Click image to enlarge A one owner from new, totally original Series IIA: ![]() Click image to enlarge Another rarity; an 88" forward control fire engine: ![]() Click image to enlarge Not really my thing, but something for the Bowler fans to drool over: ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge I spotted this very nicely engineered trailer, parked up next to the toilet blocks! It uses a military hitch but appears to be on a custom made galvanised chassis with leaf springs: ![]() Click image to enlarge And finally, one of my favourite vehicles was this genuine, factory built Camel Trophy Discovery. It was one of set of three built as pre-scout cars for one of the late 90's events. It's fully kitted to Camel spec except for the colour and was accompanied by similar blue and silver vehicles: ![]() Click image to enlarge I came away from the event with a strong hankering for an old Land Rover, for which I've neither the time nor the space ![]() 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing?
