United Kingdom 2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Stornoway Grey
New Defender owner
Recently purchased a 90 County HT from the forum via rockstar57. I travelled nearly 600 miles for it and the condition is a credit to Peter. It is my first Defender, and third LR. I wanted one a few years ago but chickened out and went for a late D3 HSE which touch wood looked after me well. I then sold that about 18 months ago and bought a DS HSE black which I still have (given to my wife). As I have set up a new business I needed a van that can cope with lugging loads and the occasional need to drive across muddy fields - only one choice of course! Laughing

Anyway a couple of pics below. I plan to look after it and tweak it slightly (as I have with most of my cars!). I have already added a Momo millenium steering wheel and a DAB radio. I want to keep things simple with a KBX grill, some Wipac lights and possibly JW Speaker headlights. I like the boost wheels but might keep these for a spare set as they're in great order and go for a set of Twisted 18s or similar. That's about it for my plans, it needs to remain usable and semi sensible for work Laughing

And the Landies are joined by my other toy, a bit different from the Defender Rolling with laughter

I didn't want to divert the thread with mention of air cooled Porsches but now it has... Since The Bridge and joining Instagram I seem to have a love of retro Porsches... I can see a new thread coming on "Defender and Porsche Owners Club" Whistle James

Defender and Porsche Owners Club thread; I like that idea. Be interested to see pics of other Porsches. Never knew there would be so many others on here!

It’s a 1989 3.2 Carrera, bought before prices went mad. Love driving it but I’m a long time (45 years) Land Rover owner so it’s in the blood Thumbs Up

Nice 964, and the 3.2 is a nice car. I have been trying to buy one for years but the owner won't sell it. It has been sat in an open ended garage unloved and badly needs some TLC. I don't think its been on the road in ten years. I won't give up!
