Dunno other than it's a WWII M3 'Grant'. I found it tucked behind one of the hangers. It's clearly been used as a range target and there was evidence of some recent work in the shape of some very shiny bolts in a couple of places but it doesn't look like it's moved in a while. Darren

I went on both the Saturday and Sunday. It was a great event, so many Land Rovers of all types! Like people have previosuly stated, it was not as popular as the SundayScramble event, hopefully it gets more attention next year. With the setting of the heritage site, it offers a great location. The hanger was packed with JLR stands and some very rare Land Rovers.
It was more of a show, with little things for sale etc, which was a nice to just look around the cars in a great setting! Overall a great event for the price! Some photos of my TD5 at the event along with others that were on show. Should be turning up in my truck on Saturday with a (non landrover) mate, so we’ll see how bored he gets!
Be good to meet some D2 members, Is there some sort of secret D2 handshake I should know about, or perhaps I need to tie a ribbon to the passenger wing mirror or something? 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2 |
