Here's a thing. Different folk in different parts of the world have different views on different things. But sure, why don't you all roast Eric for pointing out what an identical age Defender to his looks like with nil intervention by the owner. Come on folks, what is it, angry season? You all got your period at the same time or something? Or are you all just seething at the fact the new Defender isn't likely to be sold with panel gaps, oil leaks and rust as standard?

In the whole scheme of things, he could be a billionaire who bought something to tow his bins to the bottom of his driveway and be able to park in town without caring if people 'door' it.

Had the two Defender being compared been two.....White Vw transporters, or indeed any other model, I would suspect the difference would be negligible.
The “offending Defender” and its owner is not at fault here, more likely the brand is. I for one can relate to the corrosion on all the offending parts as pictures above, I just try to keep on top of it. Though mine is a “kept woman” only getting out this weekend to have her new boots fitted. |
