I've finally found the time to start clearing out the 'surplus to requirements' pile and have a few bits and bobs for sale. There may be something useful to someone. If I am way off with the prices I am open to some discussion, but if there are no takers these will end up on eBay. All prices are plus P&P, or collection can be arranged either in person or by courier. Items will be reserved/sold on a first-come, first-served basis, so register interest in this thread or by PM if you are interested in anything.
There will probably be more in due course, but I have to get rid of the first pile before I can get to the second! Item 1. Two second row manual window lifters, used but good working order. £25 each or £40 the pair. Click image to enlarge Item 2. 110/130 fuel tank guard, genuine, removed when I fitted an aluminium one, surface rust but straight and sound. £15. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Item 3. Heater air intake duct from wing to heater box, from 2.4 TDCi (but is the same for 2.2 and TD5, and maybe others). Used but in excellent condition. £15. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Item 4. Bradley Autojaw. This has had very little use and is effectively as new. It's a clever gadget and can simplify coupling up ring-and-pin type trailers. I no longer needed since I tend to carry a universal coupling, and I have converted the trailer I used to use it for from R&P to 50mm ball. For more info see https://www.bradleydoublelock.co.uk/produc...coup-.html . RRP on these is now £125 or thereabouts, this one can be yours for a mere £50. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Item 5. Single-pin slider for an adjustable coupling. This is (I believe) a Witter slider not a DB, but it will fit a DB hitch provided that you use the current longer type of DB pin. Surface rust but very sound. It is thicker than the standard DB slider and is very chunky. £10. Click image to enlarge Item 6. The plastic intake duct (both parts) connecting the air filter box to the wing intake on a TDCi. £15 (for both bits). Click image to enlarge Item 7. Defender windscreen washer reservoir. This is the type with a remote pump that was used on vehicles with factory fitted headlight washers. The remote pump capability is handy if you want to do a pump upgrade since you are not limited to the ones that fit the normal reservoir. This comes as shown with the pump, but I bought it second-hand and have no idea if the pump works. The reservoir is in good condition but has quite a lot of black under seal on it, this cleans off with solvent but I couldn't be bothered to get it all off once I had decided to use a different approach for my headlamp washers. It fits in the standard location used on TD5/TDCi Defenders, behind the n/s headlamp. £25. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Item 8. A pair of sills for a 110 in Stornoway grey. These have the Hereford Landrover bull badge on them which I am sure could be removed, and one has a small imperfection where a repair to the n/s/f wing was badly masked off for spraying, They are however straight and in very good condition. £40 the set. Click image to enlarge Item 9. Rear propshaft for Puma 110. Bought second hand as a used part, it appears to be in good usable condition with sound UJs. It has a tiny dent in the tube, and the balance weight shows clear signs of Landrover's shoddy late model build quality, but it is fully usable. £75. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Item 10. Discovery 2 screen/headlight/rear window washer reservoir. I bought this when planning my headlight washer install, since it is a large, regular shaped reservoir with provision for many standard pumps, but didn't use it. £25. Click image to enlarge Item 11. Drive belt for engine ancillaries, genuine LR, taken off an engine I bought. This appears to be in good condition and usable. I have no idea of the mileage ot has covered but it isn't high. This is for a 2.4 TDCi with aircon compressor and is of no use to me since I don't have a/c. £10. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Item 12. Defender TDCi air box, used, good condition, unmodified. Please note that the MAF sensor is not included. Provisionally sold to Welshsurferdude Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Item 13. Sold to RobKeay. Item 14. Sold to John P. Item 15. An unbranded QR boss of exceptional slimness, this appear to be the same as those once sold by Raptor 4x4 and is good condition, but I can't remember where I got it. It is not in the same league as the two above in terms of quality. £10. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Item 16. Sold to RobKeay. Item 17. A set of five Discovery 2 alloy wheels of the type shown below, in very good used condition. These have tyres on them but due to the age of the tyres they are priced for the rims alone. I will let the set go fo £250. Click image to enlarge Last edited by blackwolf on 30th May 2019 8:59am. Edited 4 times in total |

HK07,
Which of the three that I have listed interests you? You will recall that we discussed these by PM back in March. I rather assumed since you didn't follow this dialogue up you were no longer interested. The three above all work in essentially the same way. You fit a boss adaptor to your column (which may be 36 or 48 splines), you attach one part of the QR boss to this, and the other part to your steering wheel. To remove the wheel the action is different for each of the three I have listed. The Snap Off has two plungers you need tpo pull out to release it (the same in fact as an Optimill), the B&G has a sprung collar that you pull towards you with two flanges ( a bit like a flappy paddle gear change), and the unbranded one has a peg you press in then twist the wheel. |

^^ I'm ashamed to say that I still have the old rusty ones on, I haven't yet had time to fit the new ones (getting my Disco2 through the MOT has been rather more time-consuming than I expected). When I do fit them, I'll put up a picture.

I'm interested in item 14, the BG quick release. Can you just confirm its the BG4921 and not the BG4924, although your link did point to BG4921, so I do assume it's this.
Edit:- On closer inspection of the picture, I can see it is the BG4921, so yes I'll take this please. |

Strange, I forgot to put a price on that, sorry.
How does £50 including the p&p sound? (Remember there is no MAF sensor with it). |
