2014 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Firenze Red

stage 1 remap 2.4 tdci

I met Gareth yesterday so that he could fiddle around with my 90 and do the stage 1 remap. after a good poke around under the bonnet he went ahead and added the remap. I wasnt expecting such a transformation! the throttle response is more direct. not jerky but a nice bucket of boost when you plant your foot. I'm sure there's some economy to be had but right now I'm addicted to the noise and overtaking things (which I never felt comfortable doing on the standard map).

Gareth is a nice bloke to deal with, has bucket loads of experience in this area so can highly recommmend!

bit of an update, just done 2300 miles of driving around the west and northcoast of Scotland in my 90 and it was faultless!
Overtaking on a hill is new to me and quite addictive. wasn't driving to quick btu up around the mountains and little passes it was great. tons of torque and a nice pace. did get stuck behind a Navara on one steep road where I could hear him constantly changing from 2 to 3rd and back again. I chugged all the way up in 3rd

still no idea if theres been any economy improvements as i took the roof rack off for the trip and that in it's self is a heavy lump
