Planned future mods in no particular order are:
Rear cross member needs tarting up. Not sure whether to go Gloss, Satin or Matt Headlining is sagging so wants sorting out. Performance exhaust. Looking at Twisted as they are local, but would take any suggestions. There is some corrosion in the bodywork getting sorted under warranty next week, which is nice! Possibly some new wheels. Fancy some sawtooths in black or anthracite but I’ve been hemming and hawing about this for ages! I can’t decide if it is too far a move away from standard. What do you think? |

Nice! Personally I would (and did) consider alternatives to Twisted. They make nice stuff but crikey do they charge you for it. Lots of other equally well made, high quality, good fitting alternatives out there, for example Griffin Exhausts from personal experience, though there are lots more > 110 XS Double Cab

Great looking 90! Rims are a tricky decision they make such difference to the look. Personally I'm not keen on black rims as you seem to loose them in the tyre, I'm a fan of anthracite and strongly dislike silver, but purely personal taste. Good luck
For exhausts you could look at https://demandengineering.co.uk/ They are local to me and were very helpful quoting a s/s exhaust for my TDi but I couldn't justify the cost in the end. I believe they actually make the exhausts for the likes of Alisport, but don't quote me on that. Thanks all. The wheels really are a tough choice, especially the bit about hem getting lost in the tyre. Anthracite might be the way to go over black.

Not quite there yet though. I think you’ll agree that the Brunel light surrounds and grill look a bit out of place. Can’t find anyone on here willing to sell me some Santorini black ones though |

^^^ I did mine with rattle cans. Just a basic plastic primer then top coat of satin black. They have held up well and show no signs of wear or stone chip. Worth a punt for about £30.
