We did this trip a couple of years ago,
The boat stops at the Faroe Islands for 5 hours for a leg stretch. I would strongly recommend taking a few days in the Faroe Islands, as it looks like It would be great to explore. Not sure about the ferry situation so you may have to make it work around that. |

Iceland is one of the few places in the world where your £’s will go further this year than they did last year too! It is a lovely country to visit, I worked there off and on for 4 years in the 1980’s just after they went “wet” but never got outside Reykjavik except to go to the airport to fly home! It’s a trip I have on my bucket list to do with my own 90, but seeing the prices and the awkwardness of the ferries, renting a properly kitted out Defender looks a better proposition. Varies are worth a few days - i’ve sailed there on a 42ft yacht from Scotland for a summer cruise, well worth the trip despite getting a pasting from the weather coming back south. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |
