Personally I will always go with genuine LR parts.
I believe there is potential quality issues with some other manufacturers and would rather pay the extra for parts designed and approved by LR. TBH- how often will you change your springs?? Factor this into the decision making as it may be a one off purchase so buy the best 
I also avoid giving insurance companies any excuse to turn down a claim so by fitting genuine parts you should be ok if needing to make a claim (hopefully you wont). |

I generally go with eibach always found them good quality, if your upgrading.
On a like for like basis try and stick to OEM/genuine. Try Island 4x4 they seem very competitive at the moment. |

spring wise bearmachs are good and 3yr warranty says a lot.
std genuine are good but soooo dear these days old man emu lovells ironman all good and i have used them all. cheap springs from a well know company wont last 12mths without sagging and rarely hit their spring rates when tested even when new |

these are bearmach springs for my 110 std specs and paint isnt bad plus they look factory with the colour marking s

There are many quality issues with Land Rover parts. Mainly because they were either designed down to a price or fished out of the bottom of a parts bin. Pattern parts can sometimes be a bit of a lottery but some are decent plus there are lots of uprgraded options. My preference for springs is genuine because out of all those I tried they suit my use but they are by no means the best and it would seem Land Rover agree. Afterall when building the 70th Works they chose aftermarket springs and dampers plus a whole heap of bolt on bits from various retailers. |

Thanks for the help guys, looks like I have a bit of a mismatch of springs on mine, I think they are genuine on the back, albeit the wrong ones. I have no idea where the front ones came from. Anyway I've bitten the bullet and bought some Alive Tuning Comfort Springs (standard height).

Nice. I bought those for my 110 but didn't like the ride when loaded so replaced with genuine. I'm told they work much better on a 90 so you should definitely feel an improvement.
