Well just after reading one of the topics on the older land rovers i started to wonder about my first one and if it was still up and running being a 1997 so i looked up on the gov,uk site checking the MOT and up to last year it was although it had a few advisorys and 2 fails throughout the years and although i could'nt see any pictures of it it gave me a smile knowing it's not scrapped,
Here is a few of my older Landys. The red one was known as the bush whacker as when we went nr any bushes with the windows open we where whacked and as the boys where then young they just giggled and pointed me into the next bush Very Happy I also had some good times out on trips in the D3 (had a private reg so i don't know about what's happend to it) with the Disco3 guys too
And the little Tonka went out with the local discovery club unfortunatly the MOT is showing fail so i'm guessing the worst

Surely you knew before you got the defender, read this forum before hand, that the list you have will always get bigger and your bank balance will get smaller and smaller Laughing

That F1 one looks a nice one Thumbs Up 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

I give it spends no more than £200 a month save it up for repairs or treat it to an upgrade as many are needed. Normality as it used to go to the other vehicles but none to pay for now but better than giving it to the tax man as it's used for work
