[For Sale] 2007 Land Rover Defender 90 Hardtop
190430-449
Gauging interest to potentially sell my Land Rover Defender 90. I need something bigger so I am contemplating either a 110 or a pick-up.

2007, Land Rover Defender 90, County Hardtop
Rimini Red
94k on the clock
2 previous owners
Mot until December 2019 (no advisories)
County pack, so electric windows and remote locking (2 sets of keys)
2 front seats and 2 benches in the back.
New large cubby box
Side and rear steps
Tow bar with electrics
DAB stereo with Bluetooth

What I have done in the last 8 months….
Using a local garage who specialises in Land Rovers (Howes of Hare Street), I have had the following done: -
Full service
New clutch
New Dual Mass Fly Wheel, slave cylinder, crank seal.
New rear transfer box rear seal and replace rear diff pinion seals
New handbrake shoes
New windscreen wiper switch
New front brake calipers & brake pads

Extras included……
Dog guard
2 sets of wheels and tyres, all with good tread. 5 Continental AT and 5 BFG Mud Terrain
Rhino roof bars

Overall condition….
The condition of the car is good, there are a few small dings on the paintwork and there is some paint peel on the roof, that could probably do with a re-spray at some time. Picture attached of some pellet holes!
The rear cross member and chassis is solid and the brakes and clutch are like new.

If I do decide to sell, then what do you think I should price it at. As you can see, I have spent quite a bit on it over the last 8 months. I’m thinking £15,500

Thanks!

Hi there!
I’m looking for some advice on the price.
I’ve found a replacement car, but I need to sell this one first.

It’s been advertised on a few sites and no interest at all.

Do you think it’s over priced?

Cheers!

To be honest, I don’t think the “pellet holes” - actually advanced body rot from the inside out helps.

Not sure you’re correct there! It may not help, but it’s not rot.
I know the person who shot at an injured pigeon, totally ‘forgetting’ my car was there!

I hope Howes of Hard Street didn't charge you for a dual mass flywheel since you don't have one!

Can you not get the clown who shot your wing to pay for repairs?

It's really hard to gauge values at the moment but my feeling is that 15.5 is quite high. It's a nice vehicle though, well, apart from the pellet holes!
