Refitted the 305's after taking them to Kwik fit to get them balanced. Only place up here I've found that can do a centreless wheel balance All good now

Yeah, not happy....Drove all the way home at 5mph with a ten mile tail back so it wouldn't flick into the wheel arches , but gave her a bath and rub down when I got home - WaHay!! The Entreq vent blank came through today but only one mud flap reinforcement bracket but will fit what I have tonight, looks top gear again EDIT Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Last edited by Zagato on 18th Jun 2011 6:19pm. Dear me Zag, you would go ape if you saw mine, plastered in French, Belgian and Dutch mud, not to mention the English stuff.

Took mine to Dunsfold as well - got there in the rain at midday and went for a coffee. Had a wander round and chatted to a few friends but didn't see anyone off here John

Took the kids on the Thames today and back via a fairground and the local vineyard to stock up on booze! Oh and fitted the rear mudflap support bracket from Entreq - (put in an extra wrap around lining and it needed a bigger washer!) Will do the other side when it arrives. I didn't drill out the 2 extra holes, didn't think it would need it as the waggling force is now prevented and less holes the better - covered everything in Dinitrol as I went....

Did some measuring to find out if there's room to fit a few bits and bobs under the bonnet and as a result drilled some holes in a spare wing support bracket ready for when I get around to fitting said bits and bobs. Took some stuff and the rest of the tribe to the horses. Took one of the dogs for a training session. Stuck an NGO sticker in the front and rear windows.

Went for a run and tested my remap v2.2 EGR closed map. Then spent an hour in the garage getting everything I had took off the landy for waxoyling ready to go back on once it stops raining. Noticed that the mounts for the OEM A bar had corroded quite badly, so spent the next 30 mins rubbing them down and rustproofing them with Brunox before painting them with POR-15, they look a lot better now. Oh and a trip to Halfrauds for the pressure waxoyl gun and the pressurised canister of black under seal plus a can of clear and black aerosol for touch ups

Went to the shops for bread, milk, eggs and stuff (wild eh? )
Then put some black trim polish that we use for the rust on the Tombraider cage on the brand new rear step bolts as they had started to rust since being fitted on Weds ... John http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |

camped at Dunsfold Sat/Sun, missed Zag. Saw a smart x-tech i think is owned by AJS and "the boy"'s defender ... nice steering wheel. i travelled in the 90 good job too due to the weather - did it rain!!!
We saw the red arrows and there was supposed to be the vulcan but we did not see it. There was a fun auction on saturday night, all sorts of metal with rust for sale, one guy bought a mystery box .. tuned out to be a land rover umbrella stand .. he was not impressed. Got home, the children bought me a sthil pressure washer .. just the job because dunsfold was like glastonbury for land rovers .. deep brown sloppy mud. the ice cream van needed a tow but that was about it. even the freelanders made it through. and finally, got a new set of trailer towing electrics for the 110 and working on how to make the plug fit through the hole in the rear x-member.. i will probably take the plug apart as the tow socket is filled with gloop to keep the water out. back to work tomorrow |
