A picture is worth 1000 words... this is what I'm after:
Click image to enlarge Cosmetically this is OK, but disappointingly all that's holding the lower drivers corner together is the vinyl and foam: Click image to enlarge These are absolutely stupid money new, but in the real world the newest of them is now getting on a bit. So looking for one of these in reasonable nick please. Ideally one that's spent all its life in a dry garage I've seen a couple on ebay, but from the photos it's hard to tell if they're in much better nick than mine. Or any suggestions for alternative approaches would be welcome. I'd like to preserve the Tdi dash, rather than going down a Td5 or newer route. I quite like the way it sits back against the bulkhead and doesn't intrude into the car. Ta.
